Welcome to Tinkley Koi Farm and Caravan / Camping Park,

selling quality koi carp fish at prices far below that of garden centres.  We also provide caravan and camping sites for weekend breaks, short breaks and family holidays.  We are situated in the sixteen acre site of a former quarry, near Trusham, in the stunning Teign Valley seven miles south of Exeter.  The Teign Valley is one of Devon's most beautiful areas in the Dartmoor National Park, an area of outstanding natural beauty.

Koi Carp Fish for Sale

The central feature is a one acre lake which is eighty feet deep and contains over 300 koi fish.  Some of these fish are Super Jumbo and still growing - these ones are not for sale but here for the enjoyment of our customers.  We guarantee that the fish will cost half the price of stock from garden centres.  This guarantee applies to all sizes of fish from babies to jumbos.  We are able to advise on all aspects of koi fish care including health, feeding and general management.

Camping and Caravan Park

Our camping and caravaning field, for touring caravans and tents, has its own shower and loo facilities .  You could stay on our Caravan Park and watch a working koi farm.  Or you could simply pitch your tent, park you caravan and use us as a base from which to explore this idilic and beautiful part of this county.

Events and Things To Do

There is much to do in the very local area and even more to do within a short car drive.  Exeter city is a small and attractive university city as you will see from our Gallery photos and well worth a visit.  There are markets and the major outlets at the north end of the high street but without the usual crowds of a big city.  Walking on down the hill toward the cathedral you will find more querky independant shops full of interesting things.  Passed the cathedral and on the left at the bottom, The Quays are also worth visiting with artisan workshops, second hand and antique shops and wonderful cafes and restaurants.

There are country pubs to eat and drink at, Chudleigh town with its market on Thursday and Saturday, Dartmoor with 238,000+ acres of wilderness, the coast only a 15 minute drive away, Haldon Forest Cycle Park even closer, Becky Falls.  We could go on for a long time ...
